This is a cause for concern. According to the Daily Mail, an endangered Kemp's Turtle was strangled by the straps of a beach outdoor lounge chairs thrown by people on the beach in Morgan Castle, Alabama, USA. Shared Beach, a local conservation organization, found the turtle's body on a morning patrol and took this heartbreaking photo. On 14, it uploaded a social media Facebook, which sparked a heated debate.
The photograph shows the turtle facing upward, firmly held by a folded beach outdoor lounge chairs with the Alabama State University logo on its back. Two hours later, the organization uploaded a more tragic picture: Turtles turned over and the beach outdoor lounge chairs unfolded, showing the rope tightly around the turtle's neck, bloodstained. That's why we remind people to take their belongings when they leave the beach hundreds of times. When you come to the beach to play, you are also responsible. You are not the only user of the beach.
By observing the barnacle plants on the chair, it can be inferred that the Turtle was strangled long before it came to the surface.
The turtle, known as Kemp's, was listed as an endangered species in 1970. The U.S. Fisheries and Wildlife Administration also listed the turtle as one of the "most endangered turtles", mainly because of human activities, including turtle hunting and eggs, or being salvaged by commercial fishing boats.
